The talk show: a genre that feels unscripted and conversational, providing entertainment and sometimes enlightenment. For every talk show, there is a host with a distinct personality. There’s the comedian, the journalist, the provocateur, and the satirist. You can find all these styles represented here on our Klout list of influential talk show hosts. The top three are Ellen DeGeneres, Conan O’Brien, and Jimmy Fallon. What’s the key to their success? It’s a blend of exclusive online content, promotional updates, and daily musings. Oh, and sprinkle in some humorous one-liners like this one from Conan.

    Wow this list is a joke. Jon Stewart should be higher than 10. Stephen Colbert isn’t even listed. Jay Leno was influential 10 years ago. Does Rosie O’Donnell even have a show anymore? Keith Olbermann might have been influential when he had a show, but if he makes it then Glenn Beck should too because Beck drew higher ratings than Olbermann almost every day.

    Bill.. the list is compiled based on the Klout score of each host.. This isn’t based on opinion, more so the persons influence on Twitter.

    Kimmel, Colbert and Tyra Banks are all at 76, and should be on this list. O’Reilly, Maddow, Beck, Lawrence O’Donnell and many others are all 60-70.

    Could you forward the following to all of those above??

    I know your are probably very busy. But, we at IAM 851 union could use your help in getting the word out to the public. We are fighting to keep what Caterpillar gave us in the past. Now they want to take it all away and cut our wages almost by one third. They forced us to strike,by refusing to look at our requests for a new contract and trying to take everything away, including no raise for the term of the contract, no COLA, no retirement fund, and increased medical payments. It’s all about corporate GREED!
     
    CAT is playing a game with the media, telling them that they are doing fine without us. We, of course know better. We have people inside who tell us that they are behind in production, that the people they brought in from other plants and hired, are too slow and keep crashing our machines. The product they put out is actually scrap.
    But, CAT is doing fine.

    Please help us. Many family’s depend on CAT’s listening to You and others like you.
    We are standing tall against the corporate giant, as David did to Goliath. But we need your help.

We as the people asks for nothing but peace. The City, the kids and the citizens are vandalism and feared  to walk the streets during the day. We at Highland Park 100 pick up a broom and see a vision of no crime. We care about where one lives, shops or visit. Highland Park 100 is dedicated to making this a better place to live and conduct business. We have about 80 members that walk, fight and protect the citizens within our community. We clean parks, and stand out there to allow kids to play. We eat dinner together and we show love to one another.  Money is tight and so much work is needed to be done. We Highland Park 100 need your help. We want the kids to live and no that someone loves them.. My name is Tracey and I have joined this group to make a change. We are fighting to take our community back.
