I would love to participate in this somehow, and am in the process of preparing for a significant move right now. I’m looking to a) utilize Twitter for this, b) see what role @klout can play in it, and b) document the process via Twitter and a blog.

If ya’ll can assist in any form/fashion (going from Seattle’ish to San Diego) I’d love to write about it and become as brand advocate-y as possible during the process.

I recently started offering social media coaching to fellow registered dietitians and I feel a discussion on a listerv about klout score really helped my credibility with clients to show I understood twitter

I just landed a decent contract for marketing for a major mall in the area. The plan will focus on new/social media and my Klout Score (57) was a key factor. I currently outscore the local newspaper, all of the regional television affiliates, the local “city” magazine and many others. Thanks Klout!

PS–I could have really rocked it if my page could have been considered. I am picky on my FB profile and have friends and acquaintances. My page was 34,000 fans and some pretty incredible engagement–all for Klout-naught! Will pages become a factor in the future?

I mentioned in the #kloutchat how my Klout score increased my credibility during my interview process for an internship. I actually took an interest in Klout when researching the company I would be interviewing with and stumbled upon a Twitter analytics slideshow one of their team members had put together. The slideshow explained the purpose behind the score and how to analyze progress towards a greater Twitter influence. Not only was I able to grab one of the team member’s attention at the first round of interviews by talking analytics but my Klout score enhanced my portfolio that I followed up the interview with. Using my Klout score helped me track my success with my current internship and speak the analytical lingo that the employer valued. These days, knowing Google Analytics no longer seems to be enough and Klout provides me an edge. As I update my portfolio with my personal and professional growth for tomorrow’s final interview, I’m confident I can walk into the room with a little Klout and prove that I’m a worthy candidate for the internship.
